Dealing with a Design Dilemma and Creating a Smart Solution: Wall Sconces

Earlier this week, I briefly mentioned I recently scored awesome new wall sconces for my (mini) bedroom makeover.  The room configuration is a little difficult because of a poorly placed window....but with every design dilemma, there is a smart solution!  Instead of using lamps, I opted for wall sconces, which I could plug into an existing outlet. ~ NO WIRING REQUIRED!  The sconces freed up the side table surface and offered a resolution to my non-symmetrical bed wall.

I scored these great sconces at JCP, where I was oddly pleasantly surprised to find nice lighting options.  In a prior post, I mentioned this light that I also {LOVED} from JCP. 

What drew me to this great lighting fixture was it's versatility. The metal tube is completely moveable, giving the flexibility to adjust the height of the sconce to where it's situated best for you.  As well as moving up and down, the sconce swivels to each side and the shade tilts up and down ~ CAN YOU SAY: VERSATILE!  Essentially, any lighting position is possible with this fixture.  The only drawback is the white cord cover that comes with the light ~  I just removed it and tossed it...no need.  The actual cord is the same color of the fixture and blends in fine.  Plug it in & TaDa...you've got light!!
