I agree, I actually was telling someone that exact thing the other day, get some vinyl lettering that say's Art and then hang this underneath. Since they come apart you can have one for each child (if you have two)

Can "ornaments" hang from it? :)

I don't see why not. I wouldn't hang anything too big or heavy, but ornaments would look very cute!
