A Little Transformation for a Big Soiree: Ring in the New Year in Style

The New Year is just upon us, so let's celebrate!  You still have plenty of time (I know, the big day is only 2 days away) to invite some friends, get a party dress, and bedeck your home with some stylish decor to ring in the New Year!

{Welcome 2011}
Have extra garland that wasn't used for Christmas?
Create a stylish 2011 banner with some wire and ribbon

{INVITE}
Having a last minute soiree? There are LOTS of online invitations on the WWW that can easily be sent to guests within minutes.
Check out these invites from Evite.

{Attire}
Dust off your favorite{Black PAR-TAY Dress} and pair it with a new sparkly headband and earrings, similar to these by Forever 21 for less than $20.  Finish the look off with your favorite pumps, and you are set to entertain!

{Decor}
 Using your everyday pieces, bring it to the next level by pairing them with shimmery black and silver accessories ~ NYE napkins, noise makers, vases, etc..  Check out your local dollar store (or even Target) for fun, inexpensive accessories.  Then stop by your local hardware store for a can of silver spray paint...anything can be transformed into glitzy decor!

{Centerpiece}
New Years Eve...truly one day when everyone is watching the time.
Gather all your clocks (and watches), and display them as the table centerpiece!

{Transform the Red & Green TO Silver & Black}
 Transform your Christmas Red & Green, to New Years Silver & Black!
Chris from Celebrations at Home has unique and creative ideas using accessories/pieces you already have to create a completely NEW look.

{Bubbly}
Of course you need bubbly to bring in the New Year, so try Champagne Granita for a twist.  Using a bottle of Champagne and 2-1/2c. of sugar, you'll create a unique drink for all to enjoy!

How will you be Ringing in the New Year?
