Completely Crushing over SATC2

{a little diversion from all the holiday hoopla...} 

I can't even believe I am admitting this, but until this past weekend I hadn't seen Sex and the City 2....I know, I know....what is wrong with me you ask?  Well I have two kids and the thought of getting to the movies was beyond.  BUT, I am sorry to say that I definitely missed out on seeing the movie on the BIG SCREEN because I am crushing over the interiors of Carrie and Big's apartment.  O.M.G...is all I have to say! The movie wasn't even over and the wheels in my brain were already working overtime!  WELL...I hopped online to see if I could find some pics and of course, I AM TOTALLY LATE...{Everyone}and I mean everyone has mentioned, talked, gossiped, and wrote about this apartment months ago.   Better late than never, right?!  

 Move out of the way Carrie and Big....I want to see the backsplash tile!

There is nothing that I don't like about every selection in this apartment.  

Every item chosen was so thoughtfully placed to create an eclectic, yet cohesive design that has classic charm in an urban setting.  

{Entry}

 Amazing wallpaper, paired with a simple mirror and oversized lamps...CRUSH!  

FYI - Lamps and shades can NEVER be too big.

{Living}

{Bedroom}

 This bedroom is just amazing!  The use of patterns and textures throughout the apartment is breathtaking, but it ALL works. The quatrefoil design (which is somewhat modern) on the upholstered headboard is one that I truly admire, and paired with the patterned (completely traditional) wallpaper, blends together beautifully and brings the look to the next level!

{THE Closet}

And of course, {THE CLOSET}....who wouldn't die for a closet like this?!  

My eye is drawn to the 'his' and 'hers' style...so NON matchy-matchy.  

'Her' side has sophisticated, creme-colored cabinetry with moulding, crystal hardware, and of course THE CLOTHES!  'His' side has dark walnut wood with clean lines creating a modern, minimalist look.

From my MANY pics on my blog, you know that I'm a warm colorer lover....
BUT with all these cool colors, I'm thinking some BLUE has to be introduced ;)
